This update to Microsoft AutoUpdate for Mac is part of Microsoft's continued effort to provide the latest product updates to customers. To receive future product updates, you must install this. After the release of Microsoft AutoUpdate version 3.9.0 (released on April 11, 2017), you are no longer receiving automatic updates for Office for Mac. When installing the latest Office for Mac updates, the update process hangs. STATUS: FIXED. This issue is now fixed in Microsoft AutoUpdate 3.9.1. Feb 18, 2019 Open any Microsoft Office application. You can open Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook. To access any of the Office apps on your Mac, click the desktop and click Go in the top menu bar, and then select Applications in the drop-down menu. It's in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
